Electric Water Heater Service
Electric water heaters are generally reliable, but when they fail, they often leave you with completely cold or frustratingly lukewarm showers. Unlike gas models, electric heaters rely on high-voltage circuitry, an upper and lower heating element, and dual thermostats. If you are experiencing a lack of hot water, it is highly likely that one of your heating elements has burnt out, often due to heavy calcium and hard water sediment buildup insulating the copper casing.
Alternatively, if your water heater keeps tripping your electrical breaker, you may have a shorted element or a tripped high-limit safety switch indicating a malfunctioning thermostat. Diagnosing these requires testing the voltage and resistance (Ohms) while the unit is live. We strongly advise against DIY electrical repairs. Our licensed professionals will safely drain the tank, test the circuitry, and swap out the faulty thermostats or elements. We carry parts for all major electric models, including Rheem, A.O. Smith, and Bradford White, ensuring your hot water is restored the same day.
